Allyson,

We love the Morgan 33. It is so spacious compared to the Chrysler 26 we had before. The Chrysler could turn on a dime, but I'll take the space any day. Mr. K does not have a rig aboard, yet. He is almost ready to take his General exam and then we will be looking at radios. We are a little more focused on a GPS unit at the moment.

I am amazed that you have had the Shark for that long! Wow! I can't imagine how many knitted items she has seen you through.

Thanks for the comment, DK

Congrats on the Morgan 33.
We've been sailing the same boat (Hinterhoeller Shark-1968) on the Great Lakes from the same harbour since 1968. I recognised the Morgan immediately. She was quite popular up here in the 70's. Great cruising vessel!
My husband is also a ham operator. Does your husband have a rig aboard?
Needless to say, many knitting projects have plied the Great Lakes in 40 years.
Fair winds.

Nice boat :-)
I saw your comment on my dragon wave wrist warmers. Nice that you like them – and the pattern is my own. I am thinking on making the pattern available online but it might be a while – job is sending me travelling a lot the coming weeks.
