Don't forget birds if you're using a trampoline... Personally, I really like blocking wires and use the carpet in the lounge with a couple blankets covered by an old sheet for my blocking.

Absolutely AWEsome tutorial on blocking! And, as usual, Mr. K's photog work is right on too. But...blocking...Hmmmm...that means I have to have a finished object, right? (Hysterical laughter as the Turtle sinks back into the pond...)

You make it sound so calm. I hate blocking!! If it wasnt for wanting photo's for my blog it is at that point I would sling knitting in a drawer. I will definately be following this technique for the next one. Thanks for a great couple of weeks I am at a bit of a loss as to what to do with myself now it is finished.

Thanks for this tutorial. I've never had to block anything stole-sized (and won't for a while yet, but I will!!), and was a bit worried as to what was involved. Your SotS is absolutely gorgeous, too!

Thank you so much for posting this! Since this is my first lace project and KAL, I've never blocked anything before and this explanation is really clear.

Thanks you for this magistral demonstration. For me it's a little bit to late... but now I have in my mind the support on which I can put my future blocking.
Your stole is absolutely gorgious in this white colour...
Thanks for your very kind appreciation on my blog.
